10 Tips To Be a Better I.T. Manager

We've all had jobs we've enjoyed and those we've... well, not had quite as much fun doing. So much of the success of a company comes down to working in great teams. Much of the success of teams comes from great leadership by managers.

Why Multitasking Gets You There Later

If you work on more than one project then every time you switch from one to another there is a cost. The majority of the cost is the time it takes for you to change context. The more projects, the higher the cost. Simple, right?

We multitask every day, right now for instance I am typing, reading and breathing all at the same time, but because breathing is purely a mechanical task and I have learned to type without looking at my keyboard I'm only really concentrating on one thing. Neuroscientific experiements shows that if we multitask on things that all use our short term memory we can degrade it over time and we're more prone to errors. Read this article to understand the science of multitasking, and to see how running Agile projects one at a time can help the overall productivity of your organisation.
